# z$ s2 j6 Y7 f- o7 Q. kI was walking along the beach with my Lord.4 ?' u& `) r& G" D1 n6 \4 v
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
8 \- r% W' b& f* wFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
1 }0 ]4 J6 v/ k; O3 l0 i; sone belonging to me4 ^+ Z8 V  Q5 H2 Z! @$ X9 R* `
and the other to my Lord.
7 [! ?# Q3 j1 w2 qWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
- o3 ^& {  k  n: i+ {I looked back at the footprints in the sand.7 S# f# [# ~3 z6 ~$ a
There was only on set of footprints.
+ p  J$ E' L; C, jI realized that this was at the lowest
$ w) ~9 f2 o# @and saddest times in my life.
7 b/ k4 L$ ]4 W# Q' q5 @5 N8 A* WThis always bothered me . b" u/ S+ o+ p+ u! z) }+ S  P
and I questioned the Lord
* R. B% R# z% s& O. labout my dilemma.
, |$ _* K* f+ Y8 s0 Y" m"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
/ C) P) J  G2 G9 QYou would walk and talk with me all the way.' i- f5 P- t6 T: ?; R
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 0 b, @$ Q; a: Q; o5 S
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
" ~* J: c! V6 SI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
