Footprints in the Sand

6 e- Y3 p, m0 f& F$ i- x0 [One night I had a dream
6 q  T3 }7 F+ F+ ^; q9 U* YI was walking along the beach with my Lord./ @) s, H- w% o6 h( E4 n; w
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.5 b+ d6 T  V: U! {+ A0 G4 f
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,/ T0 A0 t; M5 }" w3 s- E5 Q$ ~) V% [
one belonging to me7 ?, C8 p. @( p" T! Y
and the other to my Lord.
0 w- z* H/ F+ C) uWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
- S9 F2 }' A8 L. S7 }0 nI looked back at the footprints in the sand.* B! i2 D" y0 p( c3 p* o
There was only on set of footprints.
2 B" q& g1 P3 H/ yI realized that this was at the lowest 8 H3 l# D* z* ~8 ?) v
and saddest times in my life.
; `8 _' z' E) M0 b0 HThis always bothered me # {2 M+ b5 H6 v/ O  n  l
and I questioned the Lord
! e5 S& b$ S2 B' v3 E0 S. Babout my dilemma.' \+ t! y9 B# \2 A5 m" L
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,, ]. i1 U0 _; q3 I
You would walk and talk with me all the way.. b) D7 Y3 U1 D4 s7 d
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 7 ^3 @3 U: }1 \  A) a! E5 Z
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.  V' X& E, z1 W  T3 A( W0 b
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, ' S( v# |) b6 k( S
you leave me."/ r- [4 g& {  N: x/ G

never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
