! d( e+ L! z* r  Z' VI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
$ g. z& M- n( iAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
2 Q" V7 \( K. _) D4 J+ oFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,2 V1 w. {: u/ o7 q
one belonging to me
5 A8 B1 F/ f/ }& c  ]' y# q% land the other to my Lord.
1 [% I* V" _0 j/ jWhen the last scene of my life shot before me/ }+ h# T6 ^1 j. W9 [
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
% V- W9 f- l4 y# S5 ~There was only on set of footprints.
+ M3 Q! ?7 u  b! hI realized that this was at the lowest 4 a; q+ Y3 G4 y
and saddest times in my life.& h# f  h& C) ?3 S
This always bothered me 1 a, J0 V; R# l; Y4 r- p3 T# j
and I questioned the Lord
9 `" K& U& l; r6 k! zabout my dilemma.
- T% ~: @3 ~. h5 ]4 T"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,* Y3 z8 [& F; x7 C3 o+ N
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
7 C8 U: ]: G" ~, pBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
1 ~, ?$ w! I/ A, S6 O. q+ v2 ~- gtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints./ |+ Y, b5 U4 M
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 3 e3 b; g4 T7 T- [! h4 K
you leave me."& Z  d6 b. t0 |  A  u; {( H3 R* i
