One night I had a dream) [' ?5 D# y# M  Q9 @
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
9 N; O$ ]6 h# p/ `. U; OAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
* c/ A* b3 s  s& [For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
4 T  d* I& U2 w- l4 N, q* {1 _one belonging to me
/ Y( e8 s7 X0 l& ]$ D. ]0 o1 `8 d, Cand the other to my Lord.2 X9 Q1 k; s. ?5 G# r' R9 N% T9 B
When the last scene of my life shot before me
; _# H! N# v: {# R5 O6 I. {I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
% c: Y) l$ {6 ~, C9 y0 dThere was only on set of footprints.+ U. ^- ?8 A- o: I/ f
I realized that this was at the lowest 7 h! {2 g" J. p9 Y9 W7 g. d4 x2 r1 A. |
and saddest times in my life.
2 K+ A5 E6 v$ I& L! ^# kThis always bothered me 6 m$ u5 R" p4 k( S3 C) o
and I questioned the Lord/ H9 B* @. ~7 J# G. E& ]2 d8 |
about my dilemma.
5 v0 l0 V) x% T2 T" z6 g"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
! U/ n. ]& t) S3 wYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
0 V" V; N8 w' G+ F4 lBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
) C0 Z) ^( O; T$ xtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
6 c0 V; e+ j6 g& D( _2 LI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
' Y4 _. t' D- F0 O5 g0 M" fyou leave me.") d$ ]7 \) o- t' n6 P4 m, G$ h
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

0 L( \  z4 u  gnever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
