One night I had a dream
/ |2 L4 z- L- m1 E  _# VI was walking along the beach with my Lord.) {6 ^) h7 |0 T1 m0 S
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.; a9 l9 G( o$ O. o2 J3 \* x# U: `
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
7 W2 S& Q& ?/ s% Done belonging to me5 c9 b7 n  I; o2 B9 T% U! }
and the other to my Lord.( C: v' H% b' M2 m
When the last scene of my life shot before me" V$ F4 f1 G  }9 `1 \/ D
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.9 J$ F! `! ~7 s% b) d8 u
There was only on set of footprints.
& r' d0 q+ A% c! n3 q3 GI realized that this was at the lowest
7 I6 b/ }3 O& o4 ~) S6 z+ V, _/ Uand saddest times in my life.& [2 z, y& G1 s2 B# o
This always bothered me , x4 `5 R' I! |/ Z% I% ~6 B: M9 w8 T
and I questioned the Lord
2 |) C! H( |$ s/ Y- `- g. c! Sabout my dilemma.
* g6 B* V+ G" V3 A"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,- E& _  a7 y* c4 _  G6 ]
You would walk and talk with me all the way.7 b4 @: ]' e. j% w/ i
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome + x  ^4 n9 P7 B( \
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.( _* X* O: p7 B: T  D
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
2 w8 @: l( N. Ayou leave me."
