Footprints in the Sand  o/ g& W7 ?5 c: v2 s( J* Y

: h+ z) Y2 n: z+ {, l+ F% X3 KOne night I had a dream
. f. l( H: e& S0 C0 o4 U4 t6 nI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
/ Z' G: s1 U+ c/ w( BAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.1 R. A3 b2 p+ y9 |7 `7 l
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,& {) o/ d; V8 |" r7 Z
one belonging to me
% X) c3 L" G- V( \and the other to my Lord.& f# ^2 t0 [1 r2 R" _; z+ s
When the last scene of my life shot before me
! a' y3 f! ?! i8 M; rI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
7 ?' c* R% H8 l6 t! mThere was only on set of footprints.
3 S- D& {! P! a. s4 [+ f4 TI realized that this was at the lowest
4 @6 M& t' V9 ]  f6 fand saddest times in my life., a$ j# f' A2 ^7 W
This always bothered me
. d( e! L7 {  y: A1 Wand I questioned the Lord, J; k7 D, y5 }8 X+ K% A4 `
about my dilemma.3 \1 f6 S2 i; B, |
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,. |, i1 Z) e2 }9 u
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
; A5 a* d' F6 x0 f/ x4 U+ jBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
/ U# w- k2 ?, o6 R6 Q: ^times of my life there is only one set of footprints.0 B9 \8 d! G( c; X2 u5 F( g6 ~
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, " `+ `8 J  j% \, d1 Y
you leave me."
, n( f/ N& T- k$ `He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
2 r* D+ M9 \6 }" jI love you and will never leave you
