3 ~$ Y' s6 b: C: V# \, {/ iOne night I had a dream
2 Z9 k6 X% t! @1 r+ s" oI was walking along the beach with my Lord.6 Y" V! H2 q9 R" r! @2 P
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.( G3 s. |% [' V& Y" z  t; h% U
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
" n$ J& j' ~. f3 x3 m( Uone belonging to me
+ v/ R; T& S% C; d' E; Q/ e: @and the other to my Lord.
* [8 U. Z, J+ C/ t+ G! vWhen the last scene of my life shot before me) U! [+ g: e/ U: K% I
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
5 O/ s+ O2 p) G7 xThere was only on set of footprints.
8 x$ I8 j- y4 N0 B  Q$ k* _% [I realized that this was at the lowest
' A( y7 W7 Y/ E" m( rand saddest times in my life.
. V4 O6 W- A% P* S: H4 r. v) j1 s+ l2 @* KThis always bothered me 1 w( ^. g7 z6 Y" I, L, u
and I questioned the Lord
: [$ J/ J' A; |$ C- Z6 @5 T9 \  Yabout my dilemma.
- x! D! }8 E! ?. ~9 Z3 j"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
( Y' m0 A' N0 I1 NYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
) X  K  E( y& ABut I'm aware that during the most troublesome . ^% V& I; H0 r. A: M9 H; J/ s
times of my life there is only one set of footprints./ @3 H( H5 j1 X* [3 c
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
) W8 t. a! K4 U4 x7 }you leave me."

When you saw only one set of footprints
