Lord,
1 R L0 ^+ A1 D8 Y U+ C% F0 H4 ?having transformed3 d# ?& [, B6 I( S0 \7 s" m
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
% m, l9 D: E7 e# L; a- J( C+ ^' kinto food upon which we are soon to feed,
: r+ |+ S1 `" Vwe thank you for life and we want to stay well,
7 g$ L" m; F, Y$ kso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
4 k9 `+ l y& \) c' p- gWe who came first and are ready to dine) w$ j5 h& e& E( ^ K! p6 `, n
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line, 7 S- G3 Q, T. G1 I
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, ! [/ ], S% {2 H; w2 e% x/ m* \3 O
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.

the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted
