Lord, 0 b8 i2 q4 Q: @$ _
having transformed7 W% X, s! I8 O% R1 h c9 a* q* ?
sunshine and soil and water and seed,: T( V `* s5 ?0 x% X
into food upon which we are soon to feed,
0 V$ @% a/ I6 Z! k! m, twe thank you for life and we want to stay well, % R: G4 ]/ p; [) p: ^. U
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.; ^. x$ t5 b9 D- [" S- D9 `$ p
We who came first and are ready to dine
. p1 W4 w/ }6 Q$ n c. E# v Pthank you that we’re not still waiting in line, - G+ X: x5 n, ?+ I* x
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
) ^& u0 T3 @" {# ?( g3 jwe shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.
1 Q: O. u" ]- D. o% `Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others
5 p4 S. H6 @0 t, ethe way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted ! I. ~ Q V+ B% I- _, G4 ^
