One night I had a dream+ `6 j1 p% {6 D# W& ]1 i$ T! r+ @
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
, U/ `) I+ h% h, P& e% e/ x9 H4 FAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.* s: E: K8 @" _1 _# L4 y
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,4 @  C3 T: _- [% ~. p
one belonging to me) b5 C* a4 i. I! E3 ?% w/ A
and the other to my Lord.
" ]2 `/ Y# Z. A4 dWhen the last scene of my life shot before me# C$ a6 B, A/ s+ Z* U& K
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
+ _' @( v: y7 g# d% N7 e+ SThere was only on set of footprints.) n% ]+ M, x, l% o' W; K, Z
I realized that this was at the lowest
1 d# ^" ?4 q0 b: |3 gand saddest times in my life.
) {- k& L+ S4 l; ~0 o0 sThis always bothered me 9 k+ \: [; ?: J- O- h1 @3 G
and I questioned the Lord
% c  W3 R5 l+ }" [7 Labout my dilemma.
3 B! H  ~( ^3 l0 t% q/ E7 D1 o+ v6 @& i' A"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,0 [& Q' n8 B: K6 W, S
You would walk and talk with me all the way.) V8 z8 q4 T1 t) s$ q  `  a
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome * s7 s% G( \, i
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
! c2 ]: t; _. p* Z. x# a& OI don't understand why, when I needed You most, 5 f; ~! X. }) ~% l# v# N% i
you leave me."

When you saw only one set of footprints
