+ C8 m. s6 a" B8 i0 x) R. nI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
/ U9 C2 f* @2 y9 q9 F* k0 YAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
9 t" }$ ~7 o6 ]3 d+ n2 j% ^For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
* ^- g. e" k; l7 T# n( b0 E9 [7 jone belonging to me# V( S; M0 P  w) w+ g  T: T5 M
and the other to my Lord.
* Q  c: z7 ~3 }5 S& f& V1 G" x$ gWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
7 I9 y: s" B% i! B5 n. SI looked back at the footprints in the sand.& ?- U- c+ n  C) y5 R" ]( S7 M
There was only on set of footprints.
; ]: \( ?$ r. ^$ l4 cI realized that this was at the lowest $ n1 b/ [  ^! _, a
and saddest times in my life.
2 o& K9 C& |: g# H& J0 J; RThis always bothered me # \9 s" }$ [6 G& r
and I questioned the Lord
2 u8 ?8 B7 r; q$ c, |6 H9 Aabout my dilemma.
2 a" b4 Y9 a: [2 ^"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,3 b" \% \, T" H8 p
You would walk and talk with me all the way.) Z/ z) V0 W  l2 [
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome " D. p# x* `" F+ g( D4 k% b* l
times of my life there is only one set of footprints." p+ _# m, y0 y# \4 A9 w) d
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
; l  Y* }5 j) s5 N4 e) eyou leave me."6 Y, e! R3 I: J9 i" q% ]3 n
