One night I had a dream. {7 C$ O- M7 w/ G# X! A
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.6 N" i$ [% G7 E5 k; A" Y
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.8 a5 _# D3 W3 f9 h
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,* {, F, Y. c& t
one belonging to me ; [! k3 [) I, M( @( `% _; \and the other to my Lord. ' N) l2 t8 v8 w0 g0 s; ~When the last scene of my life shot before me- Y/ B& Q1 k( l2 G3 M1 M$ L) P3 ?
I looked back at the footprints in the sand. ) r) c' c+ v* z* `! |) |There was only on set of footprints.7 k7 q* ^; m/ R$ n' C
I realized that this was at the lowest 7 J( A a% C( |8 s! Q
and saddest times in my life.; M. I9 O/ N$ {: u
This always bothered me & U" {; \7 c7 X, D5 J* G& i; j
and I questioned the Lord 7 ~9 w( [$ B; [( y, W3 B, a- E. Z: Mabout my dilemma.. a' \8 ^) m% I7 }3 f. f
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You, ( b {" Y5 d; e6 vYou would walk and talk with me all the way.* z) H& \8 m$ h- U3 l+ F9 u: v! b
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome ! F9 S9 P+ ]3 j" b, ?2 p% b
times of my life there is only one set of footprints. 8 z1 n8 z0 p6 U% oI don't understand why, when I needed You most, 3 Z5 T5 E; ]- J/ _% h4 {
