One night I had a dream
5 ^' |; r  r- p! C3 }! YI was walking along the beach with my Lord./ S% [0 @$ r7 s0 N; T1 g& _
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
" B8 Y/ L8 |# A. u2 ZFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
9 o, p: V& k% Z2 qone belonging to me
7 V+ ?. S' P2 C8 Sand the other to my Lord.5 y8 r( ^4 p5 E
When the last scene of my life shot before me# e0 l1 V. @/ z) G# x
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
7 `  d: B! U: c6 R  f! w9 dThere was only on set of footprints.  |4 w# U/ K4 d  t/ T" e% n
I realized that this was at the lowest
$ z! y6 b& {  ~and saddest times in my life.
% a9 v  ]9 F4 M, \, ^5 ]This always bothered me
+ T$ T2 E5 w% `- J! p# c) @and I questioned the Lord
6 k( i! ?& b+ o  O$ \' T$ habout my dilemma.! f2 p8 D( r, \- S: @
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,( o/ s7 j7 C7 U: X$ C) e  `& p; r
You would walk and talk with me all the way.- `/ R- W  o0 q+ N
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome ( i. N4 E; s2 [/ R7 u6 l& K; `( R
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.  _: S, \9 W' p/ L
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 4 Y% l/ H# \; Z9 y; n
you leave me.") I& q( t' h+ @7 q4 z0 I/ C2 I% ~
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
+ [+ T# g8 @7 R; @( o: n$ TI love you and will never leave you
9 m: `& g+ c0 C" ]never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
