One night I had a dream0 K. l. f$ q* a; s' v- {
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
$ G0 f5 i5 @# c0 [. P; @) uAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
. ~/ n1 |3 ~6 R  i7 d5 d/ gFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,  z0 J, M4 \& J- E. m" D
one belonging to me
! w3 x) v, ?8 x' W" N* Sand the other to my Lord.
- c! m+ k/ M6 ]5 NWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
# v- U( U" ^2 t: o4 lI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
0 c9 e$ R# \, l6 D6 F% |There was only on set of footprints.
9 g" j2 R+ l6 j6 G+ EI realized that this was at the lowest
7 q. w8 G, k; C% _5 Rand saddest times in my life.) X% o% u  T& D8 \# E
This always bothered me
: C; i3 `( l' e  Q3 t  }and I questioned the Lord9 \8 m. _& z- D" t; U5 m
about my dilemma.5 h) `  ?/ g1 b6 w
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
! k( Y3 v; o( |$ TYou would walk and talk with me all the way., |; \& Q$ E( f1 i9 U& C: D6 r
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
  R  U; V: n/ }  v5 f; ~- ]% Utimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.6 U( ]) z7 |9 A% i  g1 ^- O
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, . s5 R' o8 b6 [: L+ v9 g
you leave me."
- N- w. Z4 X$ O+ X7 KHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

When you saw only one set of footprints
